It was sorta cloudy and then as soon as she walked out so did the sun.  The music was perfect.  It brought tears to my eyes.

Check out my hot stud
Jamie is adorable.

Wedding Rehearsal & Dinner

A gorgeous view right where they will be getting married TOMORROW:)
This is my favorite, right about their heads.
The wedding line getting instructions
Cindy and I listening.  I'm sure I'll have to refresh Rodger, because he was cracking jokes and probably not fully listening.
Best man and Maid of Honor

Amber and her dad
The flower girls.  They instantly became best friends.
Marley and Jamie.

We then went to dinner at this amazing place.  I've never had better Salmon before.
B-E-A-UTIFUL.
Rodg and I at dinner.  Not the best picture of me, but Rodg Bear looks cute.

Mother's Day Overload

Mother's day was a busy one for us.  We saw:
*Cindy (Rodger's mom)
*My grandma
*Both of Rodger's grandma's
*Holly (Rodger's step-mom)
*And finally my mom
Luckily for us, 4 out of 6 were at the same location.
We started the morning at church where Rodger and I put these together for our little Nursery delights.  We love them, they are so cute and such a joy in our lives.  One little boy in particular runs up to Rodger and gives him the biggest hug in the world.  It's the cutest thing.  (Yes, Abbie it's Mr. Carson)  We hope their moms enjoy their little gift.
We then went to brunch with Rodger's mom and her boyfriend.  Above is what we gave her.  Thanks to the help from Jen at my work.  She did a great job putting these together.  They are placed on tile and you get an easel for mounting.  I love them.
This is Holly's tile.
In the afternoon we went to Rodger's grandma's house.  I'm so thankful that Rodger's family is willing to be together even though their was a divorce involved.  I really wish my family could be better at this, it's so much easier for the kids.  At his grandma's house it was both his parents (divorced) with their wife/boyfriend, and both sets of grandparents.  How awesome is that.  Everyone gets along together so well.  Definitely not uncomfortable at all either.
This is my moms tile.
Rodger climbed this tree many times growing up.  Of course he had to show Jamie the ropes.
Check that out.  There's his stretch similar to the one he can and does do on 1st base.

I just want to say how blessed I am to have many moms in my life.  Of course my own mother stands out the most to me.  She truly is so sincere and thinks only of others.  I love her with all my heart.
My Favorites about each one:
*My moms laugh
*Cindy who does NOT judge (I really admire that)
*Holly is open and will say what she feels.  I honestly love this about her.
*My grandma's smile
*Mary Jane's kind heart
*Florie's yummy dinners.

We love you all so very much.

Jeff & Amber's Wedding Shower

Rodger and I wanted to throw a shower for Jeff & Amber.  They get married this Wednesday the 13th @ Red Butte Gardens.
The party consisted of dessert and games.

The Dessert:
Yummy Scotch-A-Roos (Rodger insists we come up with a new name for these), Crackers with green peppers and cheese, fruit with an amazing dip (thanks mom), and the famous soft sugar cookies.

The Games:
The games were fantastic!  I loved them.  For this game Rodger and I held two trays filled with different candies.  We showed each team the 2 trays together for 15 seconds.  As soon as we left they have 5 minutes to write down and remember as many candies as they could and then to come up with a poem/saying about marriage.  It was a hit!
The boys.  They won and came up with the cutest saying.  You would think it would be opposite.  For their prize they got to divide the candy between them.  They were kind enough and shared.
The girls.
For this game I had a quiz made up for Jeff & Amber.  Earlier in the week they answered the quiz without each other seeing.  Amber would answer Jeff's questions about him and vis versa.  If they got it wrong they would have to put a BIG marshmellow in their mouth.  Jeff lost.  It was fun.
Of course I had to use this game.  Chels did this at my shower and it was fun.

Jamie won.  She was spot on with Jeff's lips.
*We also played the "penny game."  It's where you start with 10 pennies (we used beads, pennies are gross and make your hands smell, haha silly me) and say something unique about you.  You want to think of cleaver things that no one else can relate too.  The first with all beads gone, wins.  Rodger's dad won.
*Girls against boys again.  We had a list of the letters A-Z.  We had 3 minutes to try and come up with things that relate to Marraige/Wedding.  Don't worry, Jamie (who is 7) came up with Sex for the letter "S."  The girls won this time.

The Guests:
Scott, Holly, and Jamie.
(Rodger's dad, step-mom, and sister)
Randy & Cindy
(Rodger's mom and her boyfriend)
Rodger & Florie
(Rodger's grandparents)
Of course the Hosts:)
How could we forget the cute couple?
We're so happy for them.  They make a great match.
We love you.

3rd Softball Game

5-18
We Lost.
Key Plays:
Rodger caught an amazing throw to 1st base, I've never seen him stretch so far.
Lizzy was in a Pickle. Half of the other team was trying to get her out, she got out but it was a good try.
Ashley almost started crying. (What's new)
Both Landon and I got out at home plate. I had to slide. I have some cuts, but I'm ok.
Why did we loose?
Our batting sucked:)
