Lizzy plays softball for DHS and this is her 3rd year. She loves it and so do I!! I love going to her games and I make it to most all of them. This last game (Friday April 4th) she had a little accident. My mom, Chels, and I had just sat down (we were a little tardy). It wasn't long after that the girl up to bat hit the ball in Lindsey's direction (2nd Base) and the runner on 1st ran right into Linds while she was trying to get the ball. Linds I could tell was hurt, she got the little big nose flare, her lips were shaking, and it was just the instant hurt face I recognized. Chelsea's like, "She got hurt, oh no, Cort, she's crying." I'm like "Well, yeah, I would be too, she's bleeding." She was spitting out blood, kicking it away with the sand, it was her lip that was hurt. They called a time out, grabbed Linds some water and checked to see if she was OK. It took a few minutes, no teeth were hurt, so she cleaned herself up and then went out to play again. We were standing behind the dug-out to see if everything was OK, being the caring family we are. We started walking back to our seats, and a water bottle was thrown and splashed up and got Chels all wet. It was the coach, she was upset because they didn't call anything on the play. It was funny, Chels said she was hot anyway. Little Liz left the game early and went the doctor because she probably needs stitches. The doctor said she needs to see a plastic surgeon because he couldn't get her lips to line up correctly. My mom is really upset because her lips are her favorite thing about Liz. Hopefully she'll be OK and won't have some huge scar (even though she loves scars) Way to be so tough Liz-I love you!

St. George Trip
We went to St. George this Easter Weekend and had a great time. Lindsey had 4 softball games for DHS Softball. They had two on Friday and two on Saturday. They won 3 out of 4. They are a really good team and so much fun to watch. The weather was fantastic, just perfect. Rodger, my mom, and I left on Thursday afternoon and made it to our "dive" of a hotel. I felt like I got an instant disease when I walked into that place, oh well, we survived. It only had one queen bed, therefore we brought a twin blow up. There was not enough room to even blow it up, so three in a bed, with me in the middle. I don't think many mother-in-laws and son-in-laws could do that, but it happened, call us crazy.
On Friday we woke up early and went to the St. George temple. It was very fun and a neat experience. We had a little misunderstanding there and my mom and I waited for Rodger about an hour until he came out. While waiting for him in the waiting room, I got in trouble for blowing a bubble, oops! We then went home and got ready for the day and went to an Art Show on Main Street and then to the Zions Outlets and got some good deals and good stuff. We then went to Lindsey's game at 4 and my dad was there then. She had another game at 8 and Chelsea and Joey made it for that one.
On Saturday, Rodger and Joey went golfing early while my dad, Chels, and I slept in. Lindsey then had a game at 10 in the morning. Afterwards we went to Dixie Rock and I wished I had pictures, but they are on my moms camera. If I remember I'll post some of those. Linds then had another game and after that my mom left for home and we went golfing. The courses in St. George are beautiful and it's actually really fun to watch. I hit a total of two balls and really enjoy it, I just need to get better before I play along side of Rodg. We then went to dinner and off went my dad, Chels, and Joe to Mesquite and Rodg and I went back to my grandparents to watch the Jazz Game. Rodger was disappointed and wished so badly that he was 21, but I told him this way it's better. He was asleep on the couch in two minutes, which is a good thing we couldn't go because they didn't get home until 4:30 in the morning! Not something I would of liked to do.
The ride home was fun, I didn't even sleep at all which is pretty surprising. Joey wanted to play this game called, "Would you rather" and Rodg and Joe were coming up with some crazy ones. Examples: (I'll give you a clean, not gross one) Would you rather lie in a glass box of snakes, or spiders? Joey, Chels, and I chose spiders and Rodg chose snakes. This game lasted quite awhile. We had a fun time and wished the trip would of lasted longer!

Wedding Pictures
We got our wedding pictures yesterday. They are copyrighted but I will still post them. We have to go through all of them and decide which ones we want to go into our Magazine Style book that we get. They turned out good and I'll post them later on. Yeah!!!
Jazz Fans!
Last night, Tuesday March 18th we went to the autograph signing of the Jazz players. We were about the 20th people in line (got there at 4:30 and it didn't start till 6:00). It was quite the wait, I was complaining but then Rodger made me feel bad because I knew how much he wanted to do this. It was fun (my feet killed). We first ran into the building and went right to Deron Williams, because his line would be the longest. Boozer, Korver, or Okur were not there, with was unfortunate. They are not very nice people at all. I handed my basketball to CJ Miles, I said, "Hey, how are you?" He just ignored me. Then it was Deron, I said, "Thank you very much." Doesn't even reply. Buttheads. Matt Harping was smiling and very nice along with Kirelinko (totally wrong spelling). After that long event of lines, we then went to one of my favorite places to eat, Zjeas (spelling wrong again). It was a fun night. We went with Rodger's best friend Braden who recently came home from his mission a few weeks ago and is also now engaged (getting married August 16th). We're excited for them!
