Only If Dreams Really Did Come True

As were laying in bed last night watching our favorite show, Chelsea Lately, Rodger looks at me and says:
Rodger: "Do you know the 2 things I dream about the most?"
Me: "Rockclimbing?" (I answered this because the other morning he wakes up and says his arms are sore. I asked him why, he said because I was rockclimbing in my dream)
His answer to his 2 things he dreams about most are:
#1-He is in the field with Jack Bauer saving the world
#2-He is on the court with The Utah Jazz winning the game
This is why I LOVE my Rodger Bear. He cracks me up. I need to remember this on a bad day:)

Um...

Our good friend Abbie told us about this adorable dog. She saw it at a store called, The Garden Shop located right by Trolley Square. The owner has his dog roam around the store. We went there a few nights ago before we were heading up to babysit Caroline & Ava. Let me just say.....I'm in love! First off, the store is fantastic it's for home decor and has really neat stuff there and second the dog is what I want! It's called a Portuguese Water Dog. Rodger and I, as some of you know, bought a dog about 2 months after we got married. Big mistake. We sold little Belle about a week later. We believe in a few months we'll be ready for a dog and this time we'll stick with it. We understand it's a lot of responsibility, but I'm ready for it. I want to take walks around our adorable neighborhood, cuddle on the couch, play with it, love it, take a million pictures of it. I'm ready. The bad thing is.....Rodger may not be. He's been saying he wants a dog, but now when I've found the one I really want....he's taking a step back. I don't want to get one if it isn't right for the both of us. But I know he loves the dog as well. He says after our little 1st Anniversary trip, he'll consider it. Wish me luck.

New Year Goals

If I write these down I might actually stick to them. Plus I use this blog more for myself, it's my journal.
  • Watch what I eat (cut back on sweets)
  • Thank Rodger more often for all he does for our little family
  • Continue to have a clean home (it's a great feeling)
  • Continue to love going to work
  • Make more meals at home (this week we're doing great)
  • Work out
  • Be happy and smile more (Rodger says I don't smile enough)
  • Go to the temple at least once a month
I've always been a fan of goals.  I've learned that if I don't write them down, they won't happen. If I see them more often I know they will get stuck in my head and it'll bug me unless I do it. I hope everyone is starting off the year great and I hope it continues throughout.
