Last Year For Lizzy

I don't think anyone realizes how much I will miss Lindsey being in Softball. It truly is the highlight of my Tuesday's & Thursday's. She's been on the Davis Softball Team since a Freshman, so for 4 years. I don't know what I'm going to do with my time next year. I guess this is why I now have Keaton & Isaac. They better be ready for me to come to every game:)
Lizzy I love you. Check out her outfit. Even though Softball will be over, we'll still see her 24/7 in Softball sweats like these.

All #13. Sweet.
Left to Right: Isaac, Linds, Keat.
Lindsey and her coach Mylei. On the last home game of the season (which was yesterday) they have what is called Senior Day. This is where they recognize all the seniors and say a little something about them. Mylei had some nice things to say about Lindsey. Some things she mentioned was that Lindsey is such a hard worker and has the biggest heart.
All the 7 Seniors this year
Happy Linds. I'm surprised we didn't see any tears coming from her. The day before she said she might just cry, she's been very emotional lately.
The Team. I love Utah, look at the pretty mountains behind.
The "Bennett" sign behind her

Her support team. We are missing Chels and the boys. They had to leave early for their 1st Baseball games.
I'm proud of you Lizzy for sticking through it for 4 years. It takes a lot of dedication, time, energy, and so much more.
Congrats to you. I love you.

2nd Softball Game

18-4
We rock!
Even in the rain.

Yippee, We're Three!

Party at Red Butte Garden
Friday April 24th @ 5:00
On our way to find the party
Why, why, why Rodger! He's in this phase where he doesn't smile. I think he's too cool.
Here they are! The birthday girls. I can't believe they are 3 already.
Angela (their mom) made this cake by hand. It was delicious and of course adorable.
Ava's a daddy's girl.
Their hats were so cute. The party theme was "Ladybugs"
Caroline loved the book we gave her. It was one of Rodger's favorites growing up. As soon as she opened it she came up to me wanting me to read it. She loves to read.
We also got them Billibo's. Everybody at the party made fun of us for this gift. They are a really popular imagination toy for kids. Obviously they are not in the loop. We got them at our favorite store, Three Little Monkeys.
Blowing out their candles.
Chels and Caroline. Chels and her family got them very cute swimming suits with cover-ups.
Ike and Ash. Ashley & Linds (Linds couldn't make it) got them cute summer dresses.
Caroline taking a swing at it.
Ava with the help of dad.
Isaac. The older kids had to be blind folded.
Yippee, we're three! They had party favors with M&Ms inside that had little sayings and this one of them. We hope you had a great birthday. We love you guys.

Lindsey + Softball

I love watching Lindsey's Softball Games.  I go into work early on the days she has games so I can make it to them.  She's great and it's sad to think this is her last year.

She plays 2nd base.
This was the first time all 4 of us girls were at her game.
We had to take pictures
Rodger, Keat & Ike enjoyed throwing the ball together.
Both Keaton and Isaac are on Baseball Teams and they start their 1st games next week.  I can't wait to go support them too:)

2nd To Nun

Bring it on again!
We are on a Co-Ed Softball Team this Spring Season.
Yesterday was our first game (last week it got rained out)
We were guests and we started off great. We got 18 runs on our first ups.
The score ended 26-0.
Either the team we played is not good or we ROCK!
I just hope this season I don't break my nose, I'm still a little tense & scared but I wouldn't let that ruin the fact that it's fun to play.
Our team. Yes Lindsey is holding Annie. She's our mascot:) Not pictured: Ashley. She'll be moving back home this week and will be there for all other games.
Hopefully we'll be this good for our upcoming games. It's fun!

4F+3D+1DC-S=A Priceless Weekend

Fun title, huh?  I'm weird.
F=friends
D=days
DC=Dance Competition
S= Sleep
We went to St. George this weekend.  We had so much fun.  We stayed with one of my really good friends, Gabrielle.  She was nice enough to let us, we really appreciated it lots.  It felt like home because the 1st night we got there, on top of our blankets and pillows was a Welcome Home Note:).  It reminded me of all the many notes I received from her through our teenage years.  I miss those. We were heading down to see Jamie at her Luv2Dance Competition.
Here we are driving in the SNOW.  It was really bad at one point in Beaver.  Rodger almost had to pull over.
Cute Jamie in her dance costume.  She was so cute out on stage.  She had such an attitude.  She's a great little dancer.  Check out that hat:)
Rodger and Cole (Gab's boyfriend) got to golf twice together.  They were thrilled.
Oh Rodger loves to golf
The girls enjoying the ride.  It was really windy.
We went gun shooting on Saturday.  We went to a really cool spot that Cole & Gabs always go to, it was our own little alley.
Cole & Gabs  (Cole takes this pretty seriously...considering his sweet outfit)
Boom Baby
At this point we were getting pretty hungry.  Therefore we ordered pizza to await us at home.

Bad boys pose

This was taken right after the picture above, HUGE wind storm came right on by.
After the storm.  Our hair was a rats nest.
I had to take this picture.  My mom claims she has never seen Rodger asleep.  It's probably very true.  This was very difficult to take going 90 MPH.  Ha. I drove most of the way home.  Rodger was getting pretty tired about 45 minutes into the drive.  He had to pull over and I continued the rest.  We didn't get much sleep this weekend.  We did many fun things into the wee hours of the night:
*Talking
*Midnight Movie
*Shanghai
*Mesquite
*Solitaire Speed
I came home to this beautiful thing.  My mom planted these bulbs this last fall and finally one popped up.
I can't wait for the others....hurry!!!
Thanks again Cole & Gabrielle.  We miss you, please come back up North!

Cole says if anyone asks me if I've shot a cool gun, this is the one.  It's a Russian Sniper Riffle called a Nagant.  It had a big kick. It's not as loud as it really is, but you get the picture.  Pretty fun.
