Happy Birthday Ash!

Ashley is now 19!  We all went to Macaroni Grill as a family Friday night. Ashley went to school and work that day and she said it didn't even feel like her birthday.  Well welcome to getting old, no more butterflies in your stomach all day long when you were little.  I miss that too.  She got a lot of cute presents.  Here she is with her boyfriend, Cole.
Joe and Chels with the girls.

No comment.  Although cute Rodger looks adorable.
The birthday girl and Lindsey
Angela (the girls mom) and my dad
The girls were so concerned about my face, it was cute to see their reaction.
Caroline loved my "rock star" sunglasses that I use to cover-up.
Happy Birthday Ashley!!!  I can't believe your 19.  I love you.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Rodger and I woke up and went to my mom's for a lovely breakfast.
My yummy cake my mom got from Baskin Robbin's.
Click on the blue question mark to view the picture.  I took it from my aunt's blog and some reason it didn't work.
Two days later I received another present.......but not a good one.
At our Tuesday Softball Game, I was at second base. Here comes a grounder, I'm thinking in my head, "Oh, I've got this one."  It's perfectly coming right for my mitt, then suddenly takes a bad turn and hits me right in my face.  It felt like a basketball hit me in the face, but much worse.  It was all such a blur and still is.
Rodger says I just look so sad.  I think I look awful.  I'm sick of the pain and the way I look.  Although I've always wanted a black eye:)
Pretty, I know.  I can't believe I'm even showing these....but oh well.
Buttons (aka: Chelsea) has been so caring through this whole thing and worrying TOO MUCH.  She got me some Get Well balloons and some candy.  Thanks Chels, I love you. It hurts to smile, or else I would to try and make myself look some what better.
I just received some flowers at home from my work, they are beautiful.

I went to the ER that night it happened.  Rodger was nervous he thought he would have to answer some questions because they might have thought it was abuse.  Silly boy.  At least we had matching softball shirts and my mom was there.  They did some X-Rays and I have a broken nose.  I'm happy because it's the best kind of broken nose you can get.  We were worried about my eye because where it hit me is my "good" eye.  My left eye I am legally blind out of.  My eye doesn't look good, but it is fine.  It's been quite the process, I just want it to be over with, but I'll live.
Happy Birthday to Me!!!

He's Too Adorable

I couldn't help but smile when my cute Rodger had flowers delievered for me at work for my upcoming birthday. He was a little upset when I called to say thank you, because they came in a box, instead of already put together. I didn't mind at all. They were lovely, as is he. Thanks babe!

For Sale!

Since my mom is moving, her house is now under contract, it's time to sell my old bedroom set. I've loved it, but there is no need for it anymore. Check it out on KSL, the link is below.

Friday @ the Zoo

Ready to see some animals, girls?  They were so good and left there precious "Ducky" and "Bubbie" in the car without a fight.
Who can't take a picture by the famous Lion Drinking Fountain?
Ava was my partner.
Caroline and Rodger were buddies. Every time Rodger would walk away to take a phone call, "Where did Rodger go?" says Caroline, a second after he leaves.

Caroline loved the alligator.
Rodger loves the girls and he's so good with them too.
They were so happy and so easy to take around, we had no problems:)

Ava loved the bears.
Of course they loved the slide.  At first Caroline wasn't so sure, I took her up, sat her down, and listened to her laugh all the way down and saying, "More, More!"
Ava just simply loved it from the beginning.  Probably because she saw Caroline go first.

Here we all are on the Train Ride.  Once the train ride was done, Rodger says, "I'm confused." It was short, you couldn't understand the girl, not worth a $1 per person train ride.  The best part was going in the cave and the lady says to just yell, both Rodger and I turn and look at each other and couldn't help but laugh.  What matters is the girls seemed to enjoy it, with such great concentration as you can tell. Anyways, what a great way to start off a weekend!  We love you both and thanks for the great day.
