The Boating Proof

We finally went! The 1st boating experience of the Summer happened. I love Pineview, it's so pretty up there.
My hot husband and handsome father
Oh ya know, had a lot of water to drink:)
Isn't this the best picture ever?! I thought so too.
Caroline is a little fish. Check out that cute butt while you're at it. She reminds me of myself when I was little, my mom couldn't ever get me out of the pool. Today, that has changed. I'm not much of a swimmer. I like to lay out, but take me to a water park and I don't want to go home!
Ava is the dancing queen.
Thanks to Rodger for being their swimming buddy.
Such a cutie
Ava was a little skeptical at first but in the end she was saying, "Guys, guys, I realized I finally love the lake!"
Caroline helping dad blow up the tube. Cute story about her. My dad was telling us that the night before she kept coming down asking for more things, not going to bed. He finally said, "Caroline, I don't want to see you again!" and pointed upstairs. He went up after and heard from the door, "Ava do you want to know why I'm sad, Daddy doesn't want to see me ever again!" My dad says she was really crying hard. He opened the door and explained what he meant and felt terrible. Trust me Caroline, dad loves you very much.

For Pete Sakes, could my leg look any larger? Focus on Ava's adorable smile.
Here they are more than ready to go on a ride!
I taught them the signs for faster, slower, and stop. Can you see what they are both doing? "Faster Daddy Faster!"
We had a little fall on the tube. For all you experienced tubers, you'll know what I'm talking about. The boat slowed down, our waves from the boat were in front of us on the tube, and the water was taking our tube down because we didn't have our weight in the back, and we fell, all 3 of us. It was scary for me, it went too quickly and I didn't have time to figure out what to do. I feel off on Caroline's side, I get to her and she says, "Let's do that again!" I find Ava who immediately is bawling. Rodger dives in after us to help. Everyone was OK but Ava didn't want to participate again. I don't blame her. Caroline and I went on a few more rides. She kept saying "I'm such a dare devil!"On our way home! We had a blast. Thanks Dad, Angela, and the girlie's for letting us come.

Positives & Negatives

...This weekend rocked and rolled...

Thursday: Cherry Hill with the twins, my dad, Chelsea, the boys (Rodger, Ike, Keat-all of their 1st times). I haven't been there in years! It was obviously more fun as a child, but still great as an adult.

Friday: We babysat Sarah in the morning. I woke up with some allergy problems and don't worry, took Benadryl. I barely remember that morning/afternoon as I was fighting to stay awake. Who knew it makes you drowsy, apparently everyone should know this. I finally took a nap at 3 until 5 when we then had to meet Michael and Abbie at Lagoon. I went on all the rides, I toughed it up, and it was fun and I barely got sick.

This is a dog the boys won at Arcades. It was hilarious the way they won. We ended up giving him to a little boy that loved him!

Saturday: Rodger and Lindsey were in a Softball Tournament all day. From 8-3. We sat in the sun to cheer them on. We were thankful they finally lost so we could hurry to Oakridge Pool. After the pool, off to dinner at Sonora Grill and then to the movie, Inception. Loved the movie, but we need to see it again. Rodger and I were both so tired we were killing ourselves trying to stay awake. Tapping our feet, moving every few minutes, closing our eyes for just a few moments, etc.

Sunday: Sleeping in late, another day at Oakridge Pool and dinner/games at moms. We ended the night cuddling to a movie.

Oh how I love long weekends.

Positives/Negatives in the next few weeks:

  • Hopefully going Boating this week for the 1st time this Summer!
  • Work
  • Rodger leaving to Vegas with his friends.
  • Ashley's Upcoming Showers
  • My hair going back blonde, hopefully! Blondes really do have more fun.
  • Family coming in town for the Wedding
  • The big day-August 9th
  • School starting (yes, I'm going back to school come this fall)
  • Play, swim, and play some more.

Summer is ending too soon.

RJ's Birthday Weekend

My most recent purchase was Magnetic Letters. Rodger and I have had fun leaving little messages on the fridge.
I need to splurge and get another set. This is my way of saying Happy Birthday with 1 Alphabet.
We went down to St. George over his birthday weekend. We left Thursday evening until Monday, which was Rodger's birthday.
We stayed with Cole and Gabrielle.
The boys did a lot of golfing.
While Gabs had to work one of the times, I went along. I had to sit on a towel with my dress because it was so blasted hot. The towel soaked in my sweatness:) You enjoyed that description, didn't you?
It's so pretty down there.

A Birthday Kiss

Gabs brother was in town with his friend. The boys had a Golf Tournament against each other. Rodger and Cole had to get matching shirts and hats. Us girls picked out their outfit, I enjoy the purple. Only a real man can wear purple.
If you haven't noticed from pictures of the 4th and a couple pictures here, Rodger enjoys doing the above sign. If you know what it means, I apologize for his behavior.
Anywho, we had a great time in St. George as always. Swimming, golfing, eating, shopping, going to Mesquite (she didn't treat us well this time), etc. We can't wait to go again.
On Rodger's actual Birthday, Monday, we spent the day driving home. I drove all the way with no stops. We also didn't listen to any music the entire way! Beat that.
When we got home we went to dinner with his family to Pepperbelly's.
Sleepy Ky Ky
We came home and he opened up his gifts.

Opening up his Pedicure! That's right, I got him a Pedicure. He'll enjoy it.
I also got him a Junior Membership to Oakridge. My dad has a membership and we decided to take advantage of the Junior Membership. He has been wanting it forever, but has been hesitant. I got the paperwork and told him I accept.
I hope you had a great birthday Rodgie Bear Bear. I love you more each day, and that's the truth. Happy 23rd!

Our 4th Weekend

First off, the goats are back in town!
We have loved waking up and seeing their little faces.
To start off the 4th of July Celebration, we put our flag up.
May it wave. Rodgie did a great job putting it up.
Saturday the 3rd we were in the Kaysville's Parade. I have one word to describe it, overwhelming. But it was a lot of fun and hot!
Later that day we went to Scott and Holly's for a BBQ. My family came. Here is Ashley and Dave. Their wedding is 25 days away! Eeps, it's coming up fast!
Lindsey and Kyler. He doesn't like her:)

My mom, Holly, and Scott preparing the food.
Amber and Jamie
Jamie and Tristan. There are babies all around at The Jessop's, I'm loving it.

We played some Volleyball. We play Volleyball a lot. We love it and I'm slowly getting better.

The Motorcycle is a dream on busy days like the 4th around Kaysville. Traffic isn't so bad when we weave in and out of people. Note to Self: GO BUY HELMETS.
We went to Kaysville's Fireworks. It was a beautiful night.
I love Rodgie.
He doesn't enjoy smiling in pictures, now does he?

We were having too much fun waiting for the fireworks.

I love the 4th, who doesn't!?
After the fireworks we headed up to Eden until Monday. Sarah Sue looked adorable in her Sun hat!
My dad and Lizzy

I love this picture of Sarah.
The boys golf a lot while up in Eden and we swam, played games, and hung out. It was relaxing. I always enjoy it up there.
We had a great 4th!
