Western Caribbean Cruise-March 2012

My father receives what are known as "carrier trips" based on the number of sales he has with a certain carrier.  He was eligible for the Western Caribbean Cruise in March.  He originally asked Lindsey, his go-to-girl for these types of trips, but she turned him down.  He then came to me, odd, seems how I should be his first pick, especially when I'm the one that works for him and most likely makes him eligible to enjoy these great trips.  Anyways, I said I would love to.  A few moments later my dad called back and said to invite Rodger, we would just have to pay for his airfare.  We were golden.  It would be a 3-some trip, one to never be forgotten.
Lindsey got wind of the news and heard that both Rodger and I were going, she wanted in.  So she tagged along, naturally.
If you know Lindsey, you know she is a crazy, fantastic, doesn't care what others thing (most of the time), kind of a girl.  She told us we had to do the "creepy" stance on our first board the cruise picture.
I lost it...which then made my father.
Please notice how Rodger doesn't change at all during all 3 pictures.  Love to him.
We all squeezed into 1 room.  It was lovely.
Evacuation Drill-We were loving it, can't you tell?

We ported out of Fort Lauderdale.
Our ship was the biggest around, Allure of the Seas via Royal Caribbean.  It was HUGE.  It had a zipline, flowrider, miniature golf, awesome locations for the evening shows, shopping, great pools, and food was decent.  It was a lot of fun.

And the boys favorite part of the ship....Casino Royale.

Our first day was a "Day at Sea"  I just love those days.  I feel they are so relaxing.
Our first night was a formal night.
Once again with Lindsey, requesting her silly faces.

Lizzy & I at the Chicago Show.  The shows were really entertaining.
We thought and knew Rodger would feel like a down right stud getting his pictures taken with two young ladies.
*Can you tell we took pictures of the pictures?  Who wants to pay for the ships ridiculous prices?  NOT US.

Our first stop was Labadee, Haiti.  Because of their current situation, the stop is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean.  It has a nice beach with a lot of water activities to do.

It was really pretty there.

I'm just shaking my maracas with the locals.
During this entire trip; Linds, Rodg, and I did our favorite thing-playing cards.  We loved to play:
-Wiz Kid (Wizard)
-Phase 10
-Kings in the Corner

Behind us is a "Water Park."  We took full advantage of this and were little kids for about 40 minutes.

Next stop was Falmouth, Jamaica.

We went to a beach and had a great time.  This was probably one of my favorite days.  The beach was great and the location was beautiful.
My dad got a beautiful bead in his hair.  It lasted a few days.
Active Lizzy and Rodger were in heaven throwing the football back and forth in the water.

Liz & Rodger were a local man's helpers. Here they are standing on his back while he is pressed up against broken glass. CRAZY.
Here is the broken glass for proof.
Rodger was then asked to stand with his legs apart like so and the little man went under his legs and blew out fire from his mouth.
He was intense.  His poor lungs.
The last stop was Cozumel, Mexico.
I forgot to write Cozumel in the sand, this'll do.
We rented scooters and drove around half of the island.  It was beautiful and a lot of fun.  There is a road specifically for motorcycles and I wish I would have known this, because I would have gotten my own scooter.  Although, I did enjoy riding along with Rodger.
*Jason, another broker that works at me and my dad's office tagged along.

We stopped and ate at an all real Mexican Restaurant.  It was DELISH.

This cute little guy made Linds and I grasshoppers out of leaves.
Right after this picture was taken, some guy came running down informing us that we needed to get off, it was due to break any day.  Oopsie.

We stopped and went to explore some Ruins.

The following pictures below show the fun we had on the cruise ship in the evenings/days at sea.
The Aqua Show.  This was very cool!

The comedy show-pretty funny.

Here is Lindsey's new friend she got just a few days before the cruise.  Rebel child.  Oh, and please notice my lovely toes and new toe ring I got in Cozumel.
Our last formal night.

This is Lizzy and I about to eat the best cupcake we have ever had.

We played mini golf a number of times.  If you lost the hole, you had to pose like the statues.
If there were no statues on that hole, you made up your own.

We did a night of dares.  This was probably the best night on the cruise ship.  The three of us make for a great "never bored" team.  Right?!
My dare was to do a handstand in the "Royal Promenade."  Please keep in mind, this is a busy place, almost like a "Main Street" on land.
I did a great job.
Little Rodgie had to go onto the dance floor and dance for a second or two.
Linds had to make out with this lady statue out by the pools.
My second dare was to go lay down by this lady.  Come to think of it, Lindsey nor Rodger did a second dare.  They owe me, big time.

On the plane ride home.

Thanks so much father for being fantastic and allowing us to join you on this trip.
We all had a great time.  I'm so happy it all worked out.  A trip we will never forget.
