Lindsey's Golden Birthday

Double Trouble....He's 22!
That afternoon we went up river rafting to Coalville. My Aunt Jacki and Uncle Kev go up there a lot. They were kind enough to let us go up for an afternoon. It was just what Rodger wanted. Pictured: Birthday Boy, me, Lydia (cousin), Lindsey, and Ash down below.
About to start
I seriously did not want to go. But I had too, it was his birth. I'm glad I did, I wasn't even cold and it was a BLAST!
We did a train for about the first 4 minutes then it was "every man for himself," as Rodger likes to say.
It was pretty scenery.
Just about to the finish line. I love the little bumps!
Kind Jacki helping us out. She knew I was afraid from last year. Landon had to save me, I couldn't stop. This year it was easy and not as fast.
We did it!
Checkin' out our butts for any dirt.
I believe mine won. We got a little sunburnt. Rodger was pretty PINK.
Let the PAR-TY begin. Rodger wanted to have family over to celebrate.
Perfect timing for this picture....they are looking at eachother:) I'm such a dork.
Linds and Rodg playing the "Ball Game" (Cosmic Catch, previously mentioned). Waiting for the guests to arrive.
The games were ready to go.
That's right. Kickball. Our all time favorite.
We played Water Balloon Toss with towels. It was fun. Lindsey and Landon were not good partners. That's right, I went there. They dropped the balloon all the time.
Sweet catch babe.
Rodger and Landon were goofing off and Rodger went to catch a balloon and landed really hard on his shoulder. Ever since baseball he has had a problem with them. Cute Jamie sat out of the next game to be with him.
Here I am explaining the next game.
We divided into 2 different teams. It was a race. You had to run towards the bag of balloons and pop it with your butt and then run back and tag the next person. That was for the first balloon. On your next turn, you had to run and grab a balloon, come back and together with the person behind you, pop it. You couldn't stand on it and pop it with your legs or poke it. It turned out to be really fun and somewhat uncomfortable, which of course made it a blast.
We then had cake and ice cream, opened presents, and then off to play kickball. It was a really fun time! Thanks everyone that came.

We bought tickets back in April for Death Cab For Cutie. It was Monday night at Red Butte Gardens. What a beautiful afternoon/night it was. We couldn't wait.
Cute Rodger surprised me and bought us shirts. Mine is on the right and his on the left.
Red Butte is such an awesome place to see a concert.
It was a little hot at first, but cooled off. It was JAM-PACKED. The concert was sold out. We got great seats though. Small little grass area with a rock wall behind us to lean against. It was perfect. We enjoyed a yummy dinner thanks to Angela, that was her gift to Rodger. She remembered we had the concert and ordered us a picnic. So thoughtful, what a great gift.
We cuddled, stretched out, and people watched. I really wish I could have gotten video of a guy next to us dancing. I was busting up laughing. Don't worry, I went home and re-played it for Rodger.
Happy us
Ra Ra Riot was first-EXCELLENT and then Andrew Bird was very unique and quite the whistler.
Then came Death Cab! They were so good live. They played Rodger's favorite song and I'm so happy for that.
This is our dancing face.
Oh how I love Rodger. I hope you had a great birthday!
Other Birthday's:
Rodger's grandpa turned 70 on the 9th! He looks fantastic for his age.
Cindy's birthday was on the 10th. Her and Randy were in town and it was good to see them. Happy Birthday to her!
Little Miss Eden was born at 12:25 a.m. Monday morning. She ALMOST made the 12th for the same day as Rodger. From the moment Rodger heard Jessica's due date he said, the 12th is a nice day, but so is the 13th:) Welcome to the family Eden. She is ADORABLE. We love her already.
