We had such an awesome time on our Cruise. It was my first Cruise and Rodger's 3rd. We went with Cole and Gabrielle, our good friends. We left Sunday out of San Diego headed to Mexico. We were gone until the following Monday morning.
Cruise' are a different experience, that's for sure. I have ups and downs about them, but in the end, it was a really fun time and I would go on one again.
The boys started the trip off right by getting us flowers before we headed to San Diego!
Here we are about to board the ship. Yay!
The top deck checking out San Diego.
Do you see that slide? Let me tell you, it was fantastic!
Goodbye San Diego....such a beautiful place.
Thanks so much babe for an awesome vacation. I loved sharing it with you.

Goodbye San Diego....such a beautiful place.
As we were sitting here the boys told us to turn around and this is what we saw. Perfect placement.
Watching their Football game.
First night at dinner
This is our "sexy" pose. I was trying not to laugh...obviously. And Gabs just looks pissed.
Our room that we shared. 4 bunk beds. Rodger and I shared one of the top bunks and below is how it turned out.....
The alarm goes off our first morning and I feel Rodger rip the sheets off and move to get off the top bed. Then I hear a thud. It was pitch black and he couldn't see nor did he remember where he was and that he was on the top. The next thing I hear are some not so choice words and then, "I can't breathe" Poor little soul. He's pretty sure he bruised a rib. It was killing him the rest of the trip. It could have been worse, so were thankful for that.
We laugh about it real hard now.
And yes, we love each other too much not to sleep together. We continued the rest of the 7 nights on that same top bunk and it was just fine:)
We had a number of Mini Golf Tournaments. It was a blast. In the end, Cole and Gabs beat us.
Our first Formal Night. We didn't plan the purple, I promise:)
The glass elevator was fantastic.
Our waitress behind us was a doll.
So much good food. Mmmm...lobster.
They always have little shows at the end of dinner, before dessert. One night it was slow dancing. Sweet Cole gets up to dance with Gabs. I sat there looking at my husband wondering......why oh why?
It's ok though. He made up for it a few nights later in the Karaoke Room. First off he competed against 4 other talented men singing Garth Brooks. He did such a good job, I didn't have my camera on me at the time. He ended up getting 2nd place. If he would have gotten 1st, he would have sung the last night on the cruise in front of everyone. He's such a stud.
Also that same night in the Karaoke Bar a man sung to his partner who was dancing with a girl we knew from the ship. She didn't want to dance alone up there with him, so Rodger and I joined them. It was special.
Yes, who couldn't love the towel friends?
I'm so glad all our 4 "Fun Days At Sea" were nice enough outside to relax and get some rays by the pool. I could never go on an Alaskan Cruise, what do you do on the "Fun Days At Sea" when its cold out?
Our first stop-IXTAPA. This was probably my favorite.
On the boat headed to the Island.
Only in Mexico do you see 4 boys on a Scooter. We had the Taxi Cab slow down so we could take a picture.
Yes, we saw these bad boys.
We went snorkeling on a little Island and it was a lot of fun.
Had some yummy food
Check out Gabs sweet drink
Gabs was so frightened by their police men who just carry machine guns out and about. She had to get a picture....silly girl.
Dalton, Coles brother, made Rodger/Cole some BP (Border Portal) Shirts. Hilarious.
What a nice gift.
Our next stop was Acapulco.
We took a boat out to go snorkling again.
And hung out at the beach
...It was beautiful...
On our way to go shop! This was the best day of shopping. A nice man found us and took us to the best markets to go shop. He told us he would stay by us so we don't get robbed. This scared me a little, but we ended up just fine.
Our last stop was Manzanillo. We took a taxi about 20 minutes North of our ship and found a beach full of shops, food, and the beach of course. We hung out there all day and did a lot of boogy boarding and some more shopping.
Cole had to show us the ropes.
It was fun
Gabs loved it!
Last time on the beach for awhile.....we enjoyed it as much as we could!
The nights on the cruise ship were my favorite. I loved getting dressed up, going to dinner, walking around, people watching, going to the Casino, the shows, activities, and playing games together on the deck. It was a blast.
I love watching Rodger play Blackjack. We did this quite a bit:)
Our last warm and sunny day out on the ship. We saw a whale and dolpins.
Oh how I miss this. No worries or stress, just relaxing by the pool and enjoying the sun.
Our last formal night. I'm missing our tans already!
Here we are with our waiters. They were awesome. The last night we all got up and danced with them, because none of us ever would the other nights, and sat them down in a chair and gave them extra tips. They loved it, as did the other tables:)
Here we are snug as a bug in our twin top bunk.

Our Cruise Ship
Go ahead and let your mind wander......Can you guess what happens when I lift the apron up?

Yes....you probably are correct even if you don't want to be. I would show a picture, but it's not appropriate.
The nice man I mentioned above, our little own chauffer, took us to the best place to get tacos. The boys have been dying ever since our first stop to find the Mexican Tacos. There were pretty good tacos....Mexican Street Style and all.Our last stop was Manzanillo. I could not be more jealous. The story of Rodg falling off the top bunk is classic. I'm glad you guys had fun.
And you want a dog! Why would you want to give up traveling and having fun because you'd have a dog to take care of? Looks like you had a great time! Love you both!
