Lindsey + Softball

I love watching Lindsey's Softball Games.  I go into work early on the days she has games so I can make it to them.  She's great and it's sad to think this is her last year.

She plays 2nd base.
This was the first time all 4 of us girls were at her game.
We had to take pictures
Rodger, Keat & Ike enjoyed throwing the ball together.
Both Keaton and Isaac are on Baseball Teams and they start their 1st games next week.  I can't wait to go support them too:)

2nd To Nun

Bring it on again!
We are on a Co-Ed Softball Team this Spring Season.
Yesterday was our first game (last week it got rained out)
We were guests and we started off great. We got 18 runs on our first ups.
The score ended 26-0.
Either the team we played is not good or we ROCK!
I just hope this season I don't break my nose, I'm still a little tense & scared but I wouldn't let that ruin the fact that it's fun to play.
Our team. Yes Lindsey is holding Annie. She's our mascot:) Not pictured: Ashley. She'll be moving back home this week and will be there for all other games.
Hopefully we'll be this good for our upcoming games. It's fun!

4F+3D+1DC-S=A Priceless Weekend

Fun title, huh?  I'm weird.
F=friends
D=days
DC=Dance Competition
S= Sleep
We went to St. George this weekend.  We had so much fun.  We stayed with one of my really good friends, Gabrielle.  She was nice enough to let us, we really appreciated it lots.  It felt like home because the 1st night we got there, on top of our blankets and pillows was a Welcome Home Note:).  It reminded me of all the many notes I received from her through our teenage years.  I miss those. We were heading down to see Jamie at her Luv2Dance Competition.
Here we are driving in the SNOW.  It was really bad at one point in Beaver.  Rodger almost had to pull over.
Cute Jamie in her dance costume.  She was so cute out on stage.  She had such an attitude.  She's a great little dancer.  Check out that hat:)
Rodger and Cole (Gab's boyfriend) got to golf twice together.  They were thrilled.
Oh Rodger loves to golf
The girls enjoying the ride.  It was really windy.
We went gun shooting on Saturday.  We went to a really cool spot that Cole & Gabs always go to, it was our own little alley.
Cole & Gabs  (Cole takes this pretty seriously...considering his sweet outfit)
Boom Baby
At this point we were getting pretty hungry.  Therefore we ordered pizza to await us at home.

This was taken right after the picture above, HUGE wind storm came right on by.
After the storm.  Our hair was a rats nest.
I had to take this picture.  My mom claims she has never seen Rodger asleep.  It's probably very true.  This was very difficult to take going 90 MPH.  Ha. I drove most of the way home.  Rodger was getting pretty tired about 45 minutes into the drive.  He had to pull over and I continued the rest.  We didn't get much sleep this weekend.  We did many fun things into the wee hours of the night:
*Talking
*Midnight Movie
*Shanghai
*Mesquite
*Solitaire Speed
I came home to this beautiful thing.  My mom planted these bulbs this last fall and finally one popped up.
I can't wait for the others....hurry!!!
Thanks again Cole & Gabrielle.  We miss you, please come back up North!

Cole says if anyone asks me if I've shot a cool gun, this is the one.  It's a Russian Sniper Riffle called a Nagant.  It had a big kick. It's not as loud as it really is, but you get the picture.  Pretty fun.

It's About TIME

I don't know why I picked this picture, I just liked it.
A few months ago I added my mom on LDSSingles.com. Muhhahaha. She had no idea, but found out soon after. She's hooked, kind of. She loves to receive flirts, messages, or whatever else they do on that site. She's back in the game! She truly needs someone in her life and I really hope she finds the perfect fit. I don't think anyone knows how happy this makes me feel. It's about time she starts thinking about herself. Anne Babe (our dog) can't justify the love she needs daily, bring on the MEN! Not the creeps though, please:0)

Easter Party

Rodger and I decided this holiday we would have a party for BOTH of our families. Since both our parents are divorced it takes a lot out of us to visit everyone. Therefore we made a simple solution: A party for everyone. I had games planned out, even Easter related, but Rodger simply did not like my ideas. So we just played normal games and had dinner. It was fun.
Thanks for those who brought the "sides" for our yummy dinner.
My dessert didn't really turn out the way I planned. Inside these eggs are Rice Krispy Treats. I bought M&M's to mix in and I added them WAY too early. They ended up melting too fast and so they were mostly Chocolate Rice Krispy Treats. Oh well, they were just OK.
Jamie and Ashley (the party game pooper, that's right, Ash)
We ate dinner outside in our backyard. I love our backyard. Don't get me wrong, I love the shade it provides in the Summer with our tall mature trees, but that calls for crappy grass. I wish our grass grew better back there. Oh well. So in order to play our games we walked over to the Elementary school across the street and played there. I love where we live:)
We had a water balloon toss. You get with a partner and toss a water balloon. After each throw you take a step back and who ever is the furthest away and the balloon hasn't popped.....WINS. (Side Note: I wanted to play this with eggs. Mix it up a bit. Rodger declined.) Scott and Holly won and they received the popcorn bowl and popcorn as their prize.
After we played Bocce Ball. Our favorite. The winners won Pringles. Poor Rodger didn't win and he really wanted to win some Pringles. Saturday night I caught him about to open one up, but don't worry I stopped him.
I had another game planned that really sounded fun. You guessed it right, it didn't sound fun to Rodger. I explained it to some of the family and some thought it would be fun & others agreed with Rodger. I will play it one of these days, whether it's with my children in years to come, it'll happen.
Jamie was giving us Chinese Massages. It felt real nice.
In the picture (Linds, Rodger (Jamie on him), Me, Amber, & Jeff.
We had a great Easter!

Spring Fun

We watched the girls today after work for a few hours. We played:
*Baseball
*Soccer
*UNO on a blanket
*Croquet
They are so cute.
"Cheese"
"We got our rain boots from Target. They have chicks on them." :)
They were looking at me during this picture when I was telling them to smile. It kinda worked.
Caroline's silly face.
Ava's everyday face, it's the best when she pulls this face while talking.
Once again we love you both!!!

Easter Treat

What to Get:
*Square Pretzels
*Hershey's Hugs
*Easter M&M's
How to do it:
*On a cookie sheet with tin foil place out square pretzels. On top of the pretzels place Hershey's Hugs.
*Place in the oven at 200* for 7 minutes.
*Let stand for about 2-3 minutes.
*Place M&M on top (1-2 per pretzel)
*Put in fridge for a few hours after so the chocolate will dry and not run onto others.
What you get:
A Delicious TREAT!

I brought these to work in my little Pink Easter Box. They loved them. My dad ended up stealing them to bring to a client for a meeting. They were a hit there too.
It is a little time consuming to make, but lots of fun!
This Sunday we're going to give them to our little Nursury children. I'm sure they will love us.
Happy Easter!
