Poker Face

Rodger has some friends over for poker. Yes, I allow it in my house. No, I don't regret it. It's friend time and he enjoys the game:) Plus he wins quite a bit, so I'm not complaining. Anyways, he turned on his DVD of Michael Jackson. I thought it was very cute. So now I have 8 guys in my living room enjoying a game with good old Michael in the background.

My little two cents to Michael is I remember dancing like crazy to his music, especially with the neighborhood boys, watching the Free Willey music video a lot, Uncle Bill played a video about Michael in his old house which I still remember parts about it today, I loved it because I loved his music and dancing. I hope he's happy where he is right now. RIP.

Time to boat! Storm started to brew as soon as Rodg and I got there. Lasted about 20 minutes.

Just A Whole Lot Of Nothing

*Rodger bought a YoYo the other day and he can't stop doing tricks.  Silly boy.

*I have a great job and I truly enjoy it a lot.

*My house is always clean.  So refreshing.

*I love my family

*Ava & Caroline get cuter every time I see them.

*I love to play the drums on Guitar Hero.

*I don't need as much sleep anymore.  I used to always be tired and now I'm not.  It's the Yoga.

*We are really considering getting a dog.

*I wish I could boat/lay out in the sun all day long.

*I can't believe Rodg and I are going to be 22 this year.  We're old.

*I love our calling in church.  The Nursery.

*Rodger really wants to kill the cat that won't stay out of our garage.

*Should I go back to school?

*I love where we live and I love my house.

*I drink healthy smoothies for breakfast and I crave them all day long.

*I've put on 15 pounds since high school.  Rodg says I hide it well.  I think he's just trying to be nice, it works.

*I loved the movie The Proposal.

*I really want to play Water Baseball.

*Rodger plays B-Ball on Monday nights.  It's so fun to watch.

*Redbox is just great.

*I love my commute to and from work.  Turn up my music, sing along, & think.

*I made dinner last night and finally halfway through eating Rodg said he didn't like it.

*I made my yummy cup cakes again today for father's birthday tomorrow.

*I need a "Yummy Mix" everyday.  (Bare back fingernail tickling by Rodger).

*I really want to go Rollerblading.

*I love my cubicle at work.  I know I'm weird.

*I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do want to learn to golf.

*I'm so proud of my hard working boy, he's doing great!

Happy Father's Day!

First off this was one morning where the lovely DHS Band was practicing outside of our house for the 4th of July events!  I can't tell you how excited I am.  I can't believe it's next weekend.

And here is a lovely tile that Jen in my office made for my dad.  He places it in his office.

We went over to my dads for dinner on Father's Day.  He has a lovely backyard.  Too bad it started raining and we had to eat inside.

We love our dads so very much and hope they had a great day.  They deserve it.

Flag Day Or A Birthday?

My moms birthday lands on June 14th.  It's also known as Flag Day.  She believes all the flags are saying Happy Birthday to her.  So I never forget to put my flag up, just for her:)

I had to make my delicious cupcakes.  Honestly...they are delish.

We had dinner over at Chels & Joes.  Look how cute and homey their place looks.  They have done a great job to their new house and it looks so good.

I totally forgot to take a picture when she had them all laid out.  All of us gave her some planter pots.  There are five total, above is one.  It's ok that I didn't get a picture of them because she is taking them back.  No hard feelings mother, we understand.

It's About Time

For awhile now we have planned to get together because it's been too long.  We went up to my dads cabin in Eden.  We could only settle for 1 night (Friday) but it was a blast!  I just wish it could have lasted longer.

We were so glad Cole & Gabrielle could make it up from St. George.  It was a surprise earlier this week.  I didn't think they could make it.

Ping Pong was the big hit.  Especially for the boys.  We played Around the World with everyone.  When the girls stepped out, they added a little twist.  If you get out, then you get a whack at your back with the ball.  Ouch!
