Haha Cort, it's a guy thing. My husband does the same thing and I used to get really bugged by it but then I decided there are bigger things to get frustrated over. You have to pick and choose your battles. :) I swear even if you told them to stop doing it they would forget the instant you told them anyway, so it's not worth the effort haha.
Just a thought...we have to be imperfect in some areas so we can be spot on in the areas that really matter. The reason I left the cupboards open was because I had just finished cooking dinner and was grabbing all of the necessary utensils to come and serve Cortney in the living room. I must have been in such a rush because I was so excited to see her bright shining face. Minutes wasted closing the cupboards and putting things away are minutes that I could be spending with the one that I love. So next time you wonder why us guys don't do the little things around the house that you think we should....it's really because we're thinking of you. ;)
Well I must say I have this horrible habit too. I must be like a guy :) Drives my husband nuts and I can't explain why I do it either. My sister does the same thing. Kind of ridiculous that we know we do it and can't stop. Good luck :)
That is so funny, I thought it was only my husband that did that. Sad to say that after 11 years together he has rubbed off on me and I find myself doing it sometimes. Drives me crazy!
Cortney tells me when her house is a mess because Rodger comes in and sets his keys down and his wallet and takes off his shoes! A slight OCD. At least she keeps a clean house! Rodger, I love how you take care of Cort!
Also for those of you who have a dishwasher, be very thankful. My sink is always full, just like the one above:)
